PhD student Fahima Dossa wins Royal Society's Alice Wilson Medal

Fahima Dossa, a PhD student at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health who is also in the ¯r¶¹Íø's surgeon scientist training program, is one of three women being honoured with this year's Alice Wilson Medal from the Royal Society of Canada.

Named after the first woman elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 1938, the medal recognizes women with outstanding academic qualifications who are entering a career in scholarship or research at the post-doctoral level.
